Electronic Submission of Exceptional Events Demonstrations and/or Mitigation Plans

The Exceptional Events Submission and Tracking System is a web-based system that enables state, local, and tribal air agencies to officially submit exceptional events demonstrations and mitigation plans to EPA for review and approval. (Tribal officials should contact Gobeail McKinley at McKinley.Gobeail@epa.gov to be added to the system.) The Exceptional Events Submission and Tracking System is EPA’s preferred method for receiving such submissions. EPA has worked extensively with air agency representatives and partnered with E-Enterprise for the Environment and the Environmental Council of the States to develop an integrated electronic submission, review and tracking system for exceptional events demonstrations and mitigation plans.
