40 CFR part 80 and 40 CFR part 1090 Pending Registration List

Help Tools
  • Register a New Company for 40 CFR part 80 Fuel Programs

This page explains the 40 CFR part 80 and 40 CFR part 1090 registration process and provides information about the status of pending registration requests.

Pending Registration List

This table lists 40 CFR part 80 and 40 CFR part 1090 registrations awaiting EPA review, along with their status in the review process. It does not include requests that require rulemaking changes, or other types of requests or applications that require policy determinations, or other actions currently pending.

The table contains two lists. One list provides information on user registration request updates that are expected to move quickly through the standard review process. A second list provides information on company registration request updates that are more complex and may require a longer review period. Registration requests are listed by an ID number known to the requester only, and the list is updated weekly.

EPA’s Pending Registration Review Process

A company request (CR) to register or make registration updates goes through a multi-step review process that relies on active and efficient participation from both the requester and the EPA.

Registration Review Process

To facilitate the fastest possible review, companies should create and submit their CR to EPA only after all required information and documentation is complete and ready for EPA evaluation.

  • CRs must be submitted electronically to EPA.
  • Companies notified by EPA of missing or incomplete information associated with their CR must electronically submit the missing information within two weeks of the notification date.
  • CRs that do not follow these parameters are withdrawn from CDX and can be re-created by the submitter once all required material is assembled.
