Participants will learn to:

1. Implement cost-effective and comprehensive IAQ monitoring to improve respiratory health of students and staff by reducing air pollutants and asthma triggers (e.g., viruses, allergens, mold, dust).
2. Replicate best practices used by Boston Public Schools to monitor IAQ and assess ventilation and HVAC systems to prevent the spread of COVID-19 in schools and provide healthier indoor air.
3. Use the Framework for Effective School IAQ Management to develop a systematic approach to IAQ management, ventilation, preventive maintenance, and healthier indoor environments.
