Participants will learn to:
- Implement cost-effective and comprehensive IAQ monitoring to improve respiratory health of students and staff by reducing air pollutants and asthma triggers (e.g., viruses, allergens, mold, dust).
- Replicate best practices used by Boston Public Schools to monitor IAQ and assess ventilation and HVAC systems to prevent the spread of COVID-19 in schools and provide healthier indoor air.
- Use the Framework for Effective School IAQ Management to develop a systematic approach to IAQ management, ventilation, preventive maintenance, and healthier indoor environments.
