The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) invites you to attend a community meeting regarding the Sandy Beach Road Ground Water Plume Superfund Site. During the meeting, EPA will provide an update on the ongoing environmental cleanup activities.

EPA will also provide information regarding potential groundwater protection measures currently being proposed to the cities of Azle and Pelican Bay that include restrictions on the installation of new groundwater wells in certain areas. These well installation restrictions are intended to help protect human health and prevent the potential spread of contamination between groundwater aquifers.

EPA will provide an overview of available site information and answer questions from residents and community members. Following the presentation, a question-and-answer session will be held. We encourage community members to attend and share their questions and comments.

Questions can be directed to Joel Reyes, EPA Remedial Project Manager, at 214-665-6764 or reyes.joel@epa.gov or Daniel Agudelo, EPA Community Involvement Coordinator, at 214-665-6533 or agudelo.daniel@epa.gov. This meeting will be held in a fully accessible facility. If you have specific accessibility needs, please contact Daniel Agudelo.
