Public Hearing Information for Authorization Request for California's Commercial Harbor Craft Regulation
EPA is holding a virtual public hearing on June 1, 2023 beginning at 10:00 a.m. EST, to provide interested parties the opportunity to present testimony, such as data, views, or other comments concerning the Notices regarding California’s Commercial Harbor Craft regulation.
EPA will end the virtual hearing on June 1, 2023, when those present on the ZOOM virtual hearing and wishing to testify have been provided an opportunity to do so. The hearing is likely to end by 12:30 p.m. EST or earlier, once all speakers present have completed their testimony. In the event additional time is needed, then the ZOOM link will go off-line from 12:30 p.m. EST until 2:00 p.m. EST, and the ZOOM link will go live again at 2:00 p.m. EST for any additional testimony by only those present before the hearing goes off-line at 12:30 p.m. EST. EPA will otherwise not re-open the ZOOM link after 2:00 p.m. EST. Testimony will be limited to 5 minutes per speaker.
Individuals should register to testify at the hearing by notifying dickinson.david@epa.gov or steinberg.kayla@epa.gov. Registration will be open through the start of the hearing, but we ask that you please register no later than May 25, 2023. During the hearing, EPA will provide live transcription services and translation services for Spanish speakers. Individuals that wish to attend the hearing but not testify may do so by clicking on the Zoom link below.
Individuals who wish to only attend the hearing but not to testify need not register. All attendees of the hearing (those testifying and those only attending) should use the Zoom link below in order to join the virtual public hearing on June 1, 2023.
