2025 Regional, State, and Local Dispersion Modelers' Workshop

Please save the dates of July 8 to July 10 for the 2025 Regional, State, and Local (RSL) Dispersion Modelers' Workshop.

The 2025 RSL Dispersion Modelers' Workshop will be held in downtown Nashville, TN at the Main Public Library Building from July 8th through July 10th, 2025.  The Tennessee Division of Air Pollution Control is our gracious host agency this year.

There will not be a "Stakeholder Day" for the external stakeholder community this year.  The 2025 RSL Dispersion Modelers' Workshop will only be open to co-regulatory air permitting agencies.  The workshop proceedings will also be hosted virtually via MS Teams for those co-regulatory air permitting agencies unable to travel to Nashville, but in-person attendance is strongly encouraged.  Afterwards, the presentations from all three days of workshop will be posted to the EPA's SCRAM website.

Of note, there were originally plans to host a Photochemical Modeling session as part this year's RSL Modelers' Workshop (similar to 2005 and 2012), but a decision has been made to postpone these plans until at least 2026 to better align with Agency priorities and co-regulatory agencies needs.

  • Registration is requested for the purposes of event communications, logistical planning, and (for in-person attendees) expediting entrance to the Nashville Main Public Library Building.

• Hotel Information
  • We are unable to offer a established hotel room block this year, but there are several nearby national chain hotels that offer state and federal per diem rates.
  • The federal per diem rate for Nashville, TN in July is $217 per night pre tax.
     
• Virtual Connectivity Information:
  • Connectivity information will be shared with the co-regulatory agencies via direct email from the EPA Headquarters, EPA Regional Offices, and the various MJOs a few weeks ahead of the Workshop.
