Rule Summary
On November 13, 2024, EPA finalized amendments to the National Emission Standards for Hazardous Air Pollutants (NESHAP) for Rubber Tire Manufacturing. Specifically, the amendments in this rulemaking address emissions of hazardous air pollutants (HAP) from the rubber processing subcategory. Following a joint resolution under the Congressional Review Act (CRA) and signed by President Donald J. Trump on May 6, 2025, the 2024 amendments to the NESHAP for Rubber Tire Manufacturing have been revoked and have no legal or enforceable effect.
