This directory contains R and GAMS scripts that run diagnostic style checks on
the model, data, and baseline.

baseline_visualization.R
produces a series of plots of key indicators for the model's baseline. these
plots are the same ones presented in the documentation

income_elasticity.gms
epilogue code for income_elasticity.R. used to calculate the
  income elasticities.

income_elasticity.R
controller program that simulates the income elasticities
implicit in the model and compares against calibration values as presented in
the documentation. this file uses diagnostics/income_elasticity.gms as
  epilogue code.

labor_supply_elasticity.gms
epilogue code for labor_supply_elasticity.R. used to calculate the
uncompensated and compensated labor supply elasticities.

labor_supply_elasticity.R
controller program that simulates the substitution and income effect in the
labor supply elasticity and plots the results over households and time
against calibration values as presented in the documentation. this file uses
  diagnostics/labor supply_elasticity.gms as epilogue code.

macro_sam.gms
constructs a macro version of the social accounting matrix to assess
  aggregate accounting identities
requires a dataset produced by balance_benchmark.gms

numeraire_test.R
perturbs the numeraire by a set amount and checks whether that perturbation
only impacts the relative prices and all by the same amount

trade_elasticity.gms
  epilogue code for trade_elasticity.R

trade_elasticity.R
controller program for simulating implicit demand and supply elasticities in
the large open economy framework as illustrated in the documentation. uses
  diagnostic/trade_elasticity.gms as epilogue code.
