Class V Underground Injection Control (UIC) Permit No. R9UIC-CA5-FY20-3 issued to Elk Hills Power LLC (EHP), 4026 Skyline Road, Tupman, CA 93276. EHP operates a natural gas-fired facility which generates 550 MW of electricity. EHP has 3 active injection wells that dispose of non-hazardous power plant wastewater into the Upper Tulare formation within the Elk Hills oil field. The UIC Permit authorizes continued injection by EHP for a 10-year term. Docket No. EPA-R09-OW-2020-0733.
