Priorities for Water Quality Criteria and Standards Programs FY 2017-2018
This document recommends priorities for states and authorized tribes to consider as they plan WQS actions and updates. It is designed to help states and tribes focus their plans and comply with new regulatory requirements for WQS in 40 CFR part 131 that EPA issued in August 2015, including the requirement that states and tribes consider EPA’s latest criteria recommendations when conducting triennial WQS reviews. The document was developed collaboratively at the request of EPA regional offices and states.
