AVERT Overview and Step-by-Step Instructions

AVERT (AVoided Emissions and geneRation Tool) translates the impacts of energy policies and programs, such as energy efficiency, renewable energy, electric vehicles, and energy storage, into changes in emissions (PM_2.5, NO_x, SO₂, CO₂, VOCs, and NH₃). It aims to address a key reason states have not implemented previous State Implementation Plan (SIP) guidance related to energy efficiency and renewable energy.
