Board of Scientific Counselors (BOSC)

The Executive Committee reviews and approves all advice and recommendations  provided by the subcommittees on the Office of Research and Development's (ORD) research programs.

BOSC subcommittees and panels support the Executive Committee by providing expert review and advice.

BOSC meetings cover an array of topics from ORD's research programs. These topics can range from Chemical Safety and Sustainability to Per- and Polyfluoroalkyl substances to EPA Transcriptomic Assessment Products.

As part of their work, the BOSC produces reports and EPA responds to their recommendations.

The BOSC is chartered under the Federal Advisory Committee Act.

BOSC meetings are open to the public. Members of the public may attend meetings, submit comments for the BOSC to consider, or make a short presentation.
