Superfund Analytical Methods (SFAM)
This page provides details regarding current and upcoming Statements of Work for CLP Organic and Inorganic analytical services.
SFAM01.1
The Superfund CLP Organic and Inorganic analytical services are presented in the Superfund Analytical Methods (SFAM01.1) Statement of Work (SOW). This SOW defines the analytical methods for the isolation, detection, and quantitative measurement of 54 Trace Volatiles [5 analytes by Selected Ion Monitoring (SIM)], 54 Low/Medium Volatiles, 71 Semivolatiles (20 analytes by SIM), 21 Pesticides, 9 Aroclors, 23 metals (including Mercury), Cyanide, Anions, Hexavalent Chromium, and Total Organic Carbon (TOC) in aqueous/water, soil/sediment, waste, or wipe samples as applicable. In addition, the SOW specifies procedures for percent solids, pH and the leaching of samples by the Toxicity Characteristic Leaching Procedures (TCLP) and the Synthetic Precipitation Leaching Procedure (SPLP).

SFAM02.0
Upcoming Superfund CLP Organic and Inorganic analytical services are presented in the Superfund Analytical Methods (SFAM02.0) Statement of Work. This SOW defines the analytical methods for isolation, detection, and quantitative measurement of 54 Trace Volatiles [5 analytes by Selected Ion Monitoring (SIM)], 54 Low/Medium Volatiles, 71 Semivolatiles (20 analytes by SIM), 21 Pesticides, 9 Aroclors, 23 metals (including Mercury), and Cyanide in aqueous/water, soil/sediment, waste, or wipe samples as applicable. In addition, the SOW specifies procedures for percent solids, pH and the leaching of samples by the Toxicity Characteristic Leaching Procedures (TCLP) and the Synthetic Precipitation Leaching Procedure (SPLP). The SFAM01.1 SOW remains the applicable SOW for Superfund CLP Organic and Inorganic analytical services until further notice.
