About the Meeting 

On January 31, 2024, EPA will host a community meeting at the Mount Pleasant Civic Center to discuss the impacts and regulation of coal ash.

EPA will present information on coal ash and resources that are available to the community. EPA also will present an update on and EPA’s commitment to good governance.

The meeting also includes a listening session, during which community members will have an opportunity to voice their thoughts about coal ash and their community.
