This webinar will discuss how to operate and maintain a wastewater collection and lift station system to reduce the potential risk for a sanitary sewer overflow. We will discuss the use of Standard Operating Procedures for inspecting the collection system from inspecting manholes, lift stations, air relief valves, conducting smoke testing and sewer camera inspection for reducing the effects of Inflow and Infiltration, generators and by-pass pumping and lessons learned.

- Jamie Hope started in the wastewater field in November 1984 as a trainee for Gainesville Regional Utilities at the Main Street WWTP. He progressed up the operator’s license ladder within the minimum timeframe. He has also worked in the lift station and maintenance fields. Jamie has received numerous awards and recognition within the wastewater field.
