TSCA/RRP Information Sheet: Access to Private Property
EPA developed this Renovation, Repair, and Painting Rule (RRP) information sheet for RRP inspectors to provide to the person authorized to give consent information on access issues. This includes EPA’s authority to gain access to private property, why EPA wants access to the property, how EPA obtains permission for access, what happens when EPA seeks access to property, and what happens if EPA is denied access to the property.
