E-Enterprise for the Environment is a collaborative partnership between EPA, states and tribes that works to modernize environmental protection through streamlining business processes and leveraging smarter technology.  Since 2013, we’ve worked across jurisdictions to cut red tape, reduce duplication, and deliver better environmental outcomes. 

In support of the EPA’s Powering the Great American Comeback Initiative Pillars E-Enterprise is:

  • Modernizing and streamlining permitting in partnership with states
  • Improving processes with AI
  • Sharing project analyses and best practices across EPA, states, and tribes
