Economic Development Administration (EDA) Grants

Post-Disaster Recovery Grants

Description: Funding to support both the development of disaster recovery strategies/plans and the implementation of recovery projects, including construction activities for natural disaster-resilient infrastructure, capitalizing Revolving Loan Funds, entrepreneurship development, and technical assistance. All projects must be consistent with at least one of EDA’s Investment Priorities, which include Critical Infrastructure, Workforce, Innovation and Entrepreneurship, Economic Recovery Resilience, and Manufacturing.

Eligibility: Applicants include District Planning Organizations; Tribal, state, or local governments; institutions of higher education; and public or private nonprofit organizations.

Type and Cost Share: Funding comes from supplemental appropriations from Congress after a federally declared disaster.

Application: Available after federally declared disasters; contact your Regional EDA office.
