Fuel manufacturers/importers are required to submit both quarterly and annual reports detailing the name, production volume, fuel properties, and additive content of each fuel. The forms are available here:

  • Annual: Form 3520-12A: Fuel Manufacturer Annual Report for Motor Vehicle Gasoline or Diesel Fuel:

Fuel additive manufacturers are only required to submit annual reports detailing impurities, additive mechanisms, and production values of each fuel additive. The Form 3520-13A: Fuel Additive Manufacturer Annual Report:

All companies are required to keep these forms updated. If you are no longer producing a fuel or fuel additive, please request the EPA terminate the registration. If you have substantially changed the components of your fuel/fuel additive, you are required to notify the EPA.
