955-megawatt natural gas-fired combined cycle combustion turbine electric generating facility

5. Sources of Emissions

The facility consists of two combined cycle combustion turbines (3,055 mmBtu/hr heat input turbine at ISO conditions and 221.3 mmBtu/hr heat input duct burner) with dry low NOx combustors, selective catalytic reduction (SCR), and catalytic oxidation, a 37.8 mmBtu/hr natural gas fired auxiliary boiler with low-NOx burners and flue gas recirculation, a 1,000 kWe (1,140 kW mechanical) emergency diesel-fired generator, a 300 hp emergency diesel-fired fire pump, and a 10-cell wet cooling tower equipped with a high efficiency drift eliminator.

8. Emission Control Technology

The combined cycle combustion turbines will be equipped with dry low NOx combustors, selective catalytic reduction (SCR), and catalytic oxidation.  The auxiliary boiler will be equipped with low-NOx burners and flue gas recirculation.  The wet cooling tower will be equipped with a high efficiency drift eliminator.

9. Date Permit Application Received

The permit application associated with this permit was received on 1/14/2020.  Note this permit will replace the permit issued on 9/27/17 that expired; the associated permit application was received on 6/24/16, with an application modification received on 5/26/17.
