EPA Holds Pesticide Program Dialogue Committee Meeting

The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) will hold a public meeting of the Pesticide Program Dialogue Committee (PPDC) on Nov. 15-16, 2023. This meeting will have both a virtual and in-person attendance option. The PPDC provides feedback to EPA on pesticide regulatory, policy, and program issues and includes representatives from environmental groups, pesticide manufacturers, trade associations, academia, and federal and state agencies.
Topics for the upcoming meeting will include:
- Updates and recommendations from the active PPDC subgroups, including the Label Reform Workgroup, Pesticide Resistance Management Workgroup, and Emerging Pathogens Implementation Committee
- Discussion of the Endangered Species Act Workplan, including grower perspectives
- Discussion of environmental justice activities, including bilingual labeling and grant activities, including stakeholder perspectives
- An overview of recent activities and accomplishments from EPA and updates on current program priorities
