Pesticide Program Dialogue Committee and Pesticide Regulatory Reform Meetings

EPA’s Office of Pesticide Programs will hold a public meeting of the Pesticide Program Dialogue Committee (PPDC) on Wednesday, May 3, from 9:00 a.m. to 4:45 p.m., and on Thursday, May 4, from 8:30 a.m. to noon. The session on May 4 will be devoted to receiving public feedback on pesticide regulatory reform issues. Capacity is limited. Registration will be required to attend the May 4 meeting in person or by phone.

The meeting will be held in EPA’s first floor conference center at One Potomac Yard South, 2777 South Crystal Drive, Arlington, VA 22202.

PPDC meetings provide advice and recommendations to the EPA on issues associated with pesticide regulatory development and reform initiatives, evolving public policy and program implementation issues, and science issues associated with evaluating and reducing risks from the use of pesticides.

All meetings are free and open to the public. The meetings are accessible to people with disabilities.

We invite you to provide input on opportunities for pesticide regulatory reform by submitting written comments to the agency-wide docket number EPA-HQ-OA-2017-0190 on www.regulations.gov. At the top of your comments, please include "Comments on Pesticide Regulations." The docket will remain open through May 15, 2017.

Persons interested in attending the meeting, either in person or remotely, will need to register: 

  • Register to attend in person 
  • Register to attend by telephone

Participants must indicate their interest in speaking when registering. To attend the meeting in person or to receive remote access, please register no later than April 27, 2017. Registered participants by telephone will receive information on how to connect to the meeting before its start.

Note that there are new ID requirements for visiting the Office Pesticide Programs. Under the new requirements, not all state driver’s licenses qualify as valid ID. View additional information on the ID requirements, as well as information on the location of EPA’s building and how to reach it by public transportation or car. The ID requirements are under the Building Access tab and transportation information is under the HQ Buildings in VA tab.
