Public Notice: EPA Public Hearing on Two Draft Injection Well Permits

Summary
The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA), Region 5, 77 West Jackson Boulevard, Chicago, Illinois 60604 is accepting comments on its proposed approval of two Class I Non-Hazardous injection well permits for Consumers Energy Company. The wells will be located in Port Sheldon in Ottawa County, Michigan. The wells would be used to inject non-hazardous wastewater generated from the J.H. Campbell Generating Station at Croswell Street, West Olive MI 49460.
An availability session and public hearing have been scheduled:
- Availability Session: 6 to 7:30 p.m.
- Public Hearing: 7:30 to 9:30 p.m.
