Tribal Emergency Procedure Plan for Small Drinking Water Systems
All public water systems must have an Emergency Procedure Plan (EPP) that details emergency operations procedures for possible foreseeable emergencies such as power outage, loss of water, equipment failure, development of unsafe conditions, and other emergency conditions. When a sanitary surveyor conducts a sanitary survey on your system they will ask if you have an EPP.
