UIC Injection Well Inventory

Each year, the UIC program collects inventory information on injection wells nationwide. The inventory numbers include wells with operating status of Proposed, Under Construction, Active, and Temporarily Abandoned. The UIC program uses the inventory numbers in combination with other funding criteria to establish annual funding levels for programs with primary enforcement authority.
