Water Contamination Incident Remediation Plan (WaterCIRP)
A WaterCIRP is designed to be used by drinking water and wastewater utilities to detail how remediation actions will be implemented, monitored, and evaluated for effectiveness during water contamination incidents.
This resource guides a utility through the development of a WaterCIRP, such as fundamental considerations and documentation of water treatment selection and implementation during incident response and includes a corresponding template allows utilities to fill in scenario-specific information.
