Web Standard: Local Styles
Note
All EPA public and internal content pages and web applications are required to follow this standard.
The 21st Century Integrated Digital Experience Act requires Agency websites to have a standard look and feel. The main EPA stylesheet sets the EPA design and branding, as managed by the Office of External Affairs. Local styles that override the EPA design and branding are not allowed.
Changing the blue background color behind the global header or modifying the font-family or padding of the headings and body text are examples of local styles that override the default EPA branding and theme.
