Air Quality Alert Program for New England

Sign up for Alerts

To receive Air Quality Alerts, simply complete the registration form.

The Air Quality Alert program, also known as EnviroFlash, is a free service provided by EPA in conjunction with the New England states which automatically notifies you by e-mail, digital cell phone or pager when poor air quality is predicted in your area.

About Air Quality Alerts

Air Quality Alerts are issued in the late afternoon when ground-level ozone and/or fine particle concentrations are predicted to be elevated on the following day in your area. Air Quality Alerts are also issued during times when ground-level ozone and/or fine particle concentrations unexpectedly reach, or are approaching, unhealthy levels in your area based on monitored values.
