2025 Southern California Wildfires: Partner Resources

Los Angeles County Department of Public Works

Visit the Los Angeles County Department of Public Works LA County Recovers website to:

  • submit your Right of Entry form to opt-in to the government-run debris removal program,
  • view fire damage maps, and
  • access other partners’ resources for debris removal.

The deadline to submit your Right of Entry (ROE) form is March 31, 2025.

For questions regarding debris removal, call their debris removal hotline at (844) 347-3332.

U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE)

The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers is completing Phase 2 debris removal cleanup work for property owners that opt-in to the government-run debris removal program.

For questions regarding their work on Phase 2 debris removal, visit the USACE Los Angeles County Wildfire Debris Removal Mission website or call their hotline at (213) 308-8305.

Los Angeles County Department of Public Health

Visit the LA County Department of Public Health's website to:

  • Find guidance on returning home after a wildfire,
  • see the latest Boil Water/Do Not Drink notices, and
  • access resources on health, safety, and rebuilding.

For general questions regarding public health, call their hotline at (888) 700-9995. There is also a hotline to speak to a county environmental health specialist at (626) 430-9821.

South Coast Air Quality Monitoring District (AQMD)

Visit the South Coast Air Quality Monitoring District’s 2025 Wildfire Response website to learn more about:

  • local air quality and monitoring,
  • information on metals, volatile organic compounds, asbestos, and other air toxics, and
  • guidance for local residents regarding air quality.

For questions regarding their air monitoring work, email AQMD at EmergencyRelief@aqmd.gov.

California State Department of Toxic Substances Control (DTSC)

EPA and California State Department of Toxic Substances Control are partnering to complete Phase 1 household hazardous material removal. Visit their Disaster-Related Hazardous Waste Removal website for information on how DTSC and USEPA execute Phase 1.
