Guidance: Regional Determinations Regarding Eligible Response Sites

Memorandum provides guidance to the Regions on implementing authorities to determine whether a site should be excluded from being an "eligible response site" under section 101(41)(C)(i) of the Comprehensive Environmental Response, Compensation, and Liability Act (CERCLA, commonly referred to as Superfund), following enactment of the 2002 Brownfields Amendments.
