Important Notice

The functionality described within these release notes will be effective March 29, 2024.

Introduction

Version 6.3.0 of the OTAQ Registration System (OTAQREG) introduces the electronic registration functionality for biogas producers, as well as functionality for biogas producers to associate with renewable fuel producers and QAP providers.

This version of OTAQREG also adds functionality to allow producers of renewable natural gas (RNG) and RNG RIN separators to register their companies.

Biogas Producer, RNG Producer, and RNG RIN Separator Company and Facility Electronic Registration

Biogas producer companies can register their company and facility information including adding a new company business activity, facility business activity, biogas source information, biogas feedstock information, and capacity information.

Renewable natural gas producer companies can register their facility information including capacity information and pipeline information. 

RNG RIN separator companies can register their company information including adding a new company business activity and pipeline information.

Biogas Producer Association with Renewable Fuel Producer or QAP Provider

A biogas producer company can associate with the renewable fuel producer company which will be consuming the biogas products. 

A biogas producer company can associate with the QAP provider that will quality assure the biogas feedstocks at the biogas facility.
