Wellfield Operations and Technologies for Upgrading Landfill Gas
On November 16, 2017, LMOP hosted a webinar to LMOP stakeholders about landfill gas (LFG) collection system design, construction and operational considerations for high-Btu projects. This webinar also discussed a variety of different treatment processes and technologies to remove carbon dioxide, hydrogen sulfide, nitrogen, oxygen and siloxanes for upgraded LFG energy projects.
Speakers
- Frank Terry - Project Manager, Smith Gardner, Inc., contractor to U.S. EPA LMOP. Mr. Terry has more than 18 years of experience operating LFG collection systems, including at landfills converting LFG into high-Btu gas.
- Mark Hill - Vice President, Operations, DTE Biomass Energy. LMOP Industry Partner DTE Biomass Energy oversees operations at 19 LFG energy projects across the country, including five projects converting LFG into high-Btu gas.
