Servicing Information for Technicians

Anyone servicing motor vehicle air conditioners (MVACs) for consideration (payment or bartering) must be certified under Section 609 of the Clean Air Act. In addition, MVAC service technicians are responsible for understanding and following EPA regulatory requirements for servicing MVACs.
