NPDES Permit for Flathead Lake Biological Station Wastewater Treatment Facility in Montana

Under National Pollutant Discharge Elimination System permit number MT-0023388, the University of Montana is authorized to discharge from its Flathead Lake Biological Station wastewater treatment facility located on the Flathead Reservation in Lake County, Montana, to Flathead Lake.

The EPA has drafted a renewal of this permit and is accepting public comment through June 29, 2026.
