Report Bee Kills

EPA considers incident report data to help inform our pesticide regulatory decisions. Information from these reports will help us identify patterns of bee kills associated with the use of specific pesticides or active ingredients. 

Investigations/ Enforcement
  • Request an investigation -- If you believe a bee incident should be investigated for potential enforcement action report it to the appropriate state pesticide regulatory agency.
  • Enforcement guidance -- EPA issued this guidance to federal, state and tribal enforcement officials to help them investigate bee kills.

Additionally, EPA funded the development of interactive training modules to help pesticide applicators to conduct bee kill investigations. The videos are available on the North Carolina Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services website.
