EPA's Office of Research and Development hosts several webinar series dedicated to delivering the latest information and training on cutting-edge scientific research activities and results that provide assistance and solutions to environmental and public health issues. Air, Climate, and Energy Research
The Air, Climate, and Energy Research Webinar Series is focused on communicating research activities and results related to air pollution sources, air pollutant exposures and associated health and environmental impacts, and reducing air pollution and its risks. Webinars are typically held quarterly on the third Tuesday of the month from 3 to 4 p.m. ET.
Computational Toxicology Research
The Computational Toxicology Communities of Practice Webinar Series is focused on technical and regulatory groups interested in using advances in computational toxicology and exposure science to evaluate the safety of chemicals. Webinars are typically held on the fourth Thursday of the month from 11 a.m. to 12 p.m. ET.
Emergency Response Research
The Emergency Response Research Webinar Series is focused on communicating research activities and results related to supporting EPA's response to chemical, biological, and radiological incidents and natural disasters. Webinars are typically held on the second Wednesday of the month from 2 to 3 p.m. ET.
HABs, Hypoxia, and Nutrients Research
The Harmful Algal Blooms, Hypoxia, and Nutrients Research Webinar Series is a series hosted by EPA's Office of Research and Development, Office of Water, and regional offices to communicate the latest research related to nutrients and priority impacts of nutrient pollution: HABs and hypoxia. Webinars will typically be held bimonthly on the last Wednesday of the month from 2 to 3 p.m. ET.
Healthy and Resilient Communities Research
The Healthy and Resilient Communities Research Webinar Series is focused on communicating research and tools intended to help communities and local decision-makers protect their assets and reduce vulnerabilities. Webinars are typically held quarterly on the second Tuesday of the month from 3 to 4 p.m. ET.
Small Drinking Water Systems
The Small Drinking Water Systems Webinar Series is hosted by EPA's Office of Research and Development and Office of Water to communicate the latest information on solutions for challenges facing small drinking water systems. Some webinars are held in partnership with the Association of State Drinking Water Administrators. Webinars are typically held on the last Tuesday of the month from 2 to 3:30 p.m. ET.
Tools and Resources
The Tools and Resources Webinar Series is focused on translating EPA research and sharing research resources and information that are useful, practical/applied and available to meet research needs of states/territories and other entities. Webinars are typically held on the third Wednesday of the month from 3 to 4 p.m. ET.
Tools and Resources Training
The Tools and Resources Training Webinar Series is focused on in-depth overviews and step-by-step tutorials of popular EPA science-based models and tools. Webinars are typically held bimonthly on the first Thursday of the month from 3 to 4 p.m. ET.
Water Research
The Water Research Webinar Series is focused on communicating research activities and results related to the chemical, physical, and biological integrity of our Nation’s water resources. Webinars are typically held quarterly on the last Wednesday of the month from 2 to 3 p.m. ET.
SERDP and ESTCP Webinar Series
The Strategic Environmental Research and Development Program (SERDP)—of which, EPA is a member— and the Environmental Security Technology Certification Program (ESTCP) host the SERDP & ESTCP Webinar Series to promote the transfer of innovative, cost-effective and sustainable solutions developed through projects funded in five program areas. The series targets Department of Defense and Department of Energy practitioners, the regulatory community, and environmental researchers with the goal of providing cutting edge and practical information that is easily accessible at no cost. Webinars are typically held biweekly on Thursdays from 12 to 1:30 p.m. ET.
