Definitions

There are two Contact Us links on each EPA page. The Contact Us link for your web area appears once: in the sidebar (if you have one) or directly above the footer (if you don't have a sidebar). This contact us link is a link to the web area Contact Us page, which provides information about how to contact EPA staff responsible for the web area content.

The second link is a Contact EPA link in the page footer that links to the main EPA Contact Us page.

Content Requirements

  • Contact Us links are required somewhere on every EPA Web page:
    • one to the Contact Us link for your topic/web area/application,
    • the other to the Agency's main contact us page: https://www.epa.gov/aboutepa/forms/contact-epa.
  • Do not include links to the Contact Us page anywhere else.

About this Standard
