EPA announced an opportunity for the public to help shape a national innovation challenge with up to $30 million in total prize funding. The challenge will support practical, cost-effective alternatives to conventional chemical crop desiccation. EPA Launches New Email Subscription Feature to Help Pesticide Users with Endangered Species Act Requirements

EPA is announcing a new email subscription feature to help pesticide users quickly receive updates from the Bulletins Live! Two system, including notifications about new Pesticide Use Limitation Areas (PULA) and changes to existing PULAs. With this feature, whenever Endangered Species Act requirements are updated in Bulletins Live! Two, subscribed pesticide users will receive an email with the latest information, saving them time and making their jobs easier.

EPA and HHS Announce New Scientific Partnership to Strengthen Glyphosate Review

EPA and the HHS announced a new interagency Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) to strengthen scientific coordination and expand the evidence available to EPA’s ongoing registration review of glyphosate under the Federal Insecticide, Fungicide, and Rodenticide Act (FIFRA). Under the MOU, the agencies will exchange scientific information, identify research gaps, and expand research into potential human health effects.

EPA and Army Seek Additional Input on Proposed Waters of the U.S. Definition

EPA and the U.S. Department of the Army announced a Supplemental Notice of Proposed Rulemaking to gather public input on additional regulatory language for defining “waters of the United States” (WOTUS) to be considered alongside the 2025 proposed rule. Comments can be submitted via EPA-HQ-OW-2025-0322-15447 and must be received on or before October 9, 2026.
