  • EPA Releases New Farmer and Rancher Inquiry Tool

    EPA has released the Farmer and Rancher Inquiry Tool – What Laws and Regulations Apply to You? to help bridge the gap between EPA, farmers, and ranchers! The farmers and ranchers can learn about EPA program offices, the laws and regulations they implement, and for each of the offices, the environmental requirements that may apply to crop, livestock, and grazing operations.

  • EPA Proposes Changes to Section 401 Regulations

    On January 13, 2026, the EPA announced proposed revisions to the existing Section 401 water quality certification regulations. EPA is accepting written public comments on the proposed rule until February 17, 2026. Read the proposed rule and send comments.

  • FRRCC Call for Nominations

    EPA is inviting nominations for membership on the Farm, Ranch, and Rural Communities Advisory Committee (FRRCC). The purpose of the FRRCC is to provide policy advice, information, and recommendations to the EPA Administrator that are of importance to agriculture and rural communities.

  • Proposed Guidance for Pesticide Registrants to Improve Efficiencies

    EPA will accept general comments regarding the changes, information on projected cost implications, and feedback on the use of these procedures for 45 days  including in docket ID EPA-HQ-OPP-2025-2863. Comments must be received on or before February 19, 2026. The proposed guidance is aimed at improving submissions by saving time and resources for both registrants and the agency.
