Volunteer for a Study

Making the environment safer for all of us

You can participate in an EPA study and help make the environment safe for all of us. Participants receive a free physical exam and personal information about how aspects of the environment affect you.

  • You will be paid for your time as a volunteer and for referring others who qualify.

The EPA needs volunteers

We are currently recruiting most volunteers from the areas of Chapel Hill, Durham and Raleigh in North Carolina. However, special populations — such as elders, people with asthma or chronic lung disease — are sometimes recruited from greater distances. Participants are reimbursed for travel expenses and parking is provided. Enquire below if you would like to be considered as a remote volunteer.

EPA needs people like you and me to volunteer for clinical research studies.
