Below is a step-by-step process for submitting survey program reports required by 40 CFR Part 1090.

To view a table of all reports for the survey programs, select the "List of reports" tab above.

Follow these four (4) steps to report.

STEP 1: Determine whether the surveyor has access to submit reports.

Any Independent surveyor participating in the program must be registered as a user in OTAQREG.

For more information, see page 1-4 of: How to Register a New Company Under Title 40 CFR Part 80 in OTAQREG (pdf) (December 2020, EPA-420-B-20-058)

Note: On slide 4, select "Yes" to "Are you an independent third-party that conducts surveys on behalf of other companies under 40 CFR part 1090".  After selecting "Save & Continue", select the appropriate survey program. Slide 14 & 15 provide instructions on how to review and submit a registration request.

STEP 2: Determine deadlines.

Reports are due either quarterly or annually.
View Reporting deadlines for Fuel Programs.

STEP 3: Download and complete reports.

Determine which reports you need to submit from the List of all reports.

STEP 4: Submit reports through EPA's Central Data Exchange.

Read the user guide for submitting reports: User guides for OTAQDCFUEL in CDX.
