Background

The transportation sector is currently the largest contributor to greenhouse gas emissions in the U.S. Electrifying transportation is key to a more sustainable future by moving people and goods more efficiently.

My Electric Ride: An EV Transportation Video Challenge was launched to support EPA’s education and outreach efforts by enabling everyday people the opportunity to communicate their own messaging and engage a large, public audience to spread awareness. The contest generated many short videos with powerful messaging, and we were excited by the level of creativity across the many submissions received. Thank you to everyone who submitted an entry and for sharing your passion, inspiring us to move forward towards a more environmentally-friendly future, and a special congratulations to the winners.
