EPA's Mountains and Plains region – Region 8 – directly implements CAA permitting programs for 27 Tribal Nations in Colorado, Montana, North Dakota, South Dakota, Utah, and Wyoming, with the exception of Title V Operating Permits on the Southern Ute Indian Reservation.
