WIFIA Projects
Since 2018, the WIFIA program has provided billions of dollars in loans to communities across the country and has an active pipeline of future projects. These projects will help mitigate the impacts of drought, replace lead service lines, manage stormwater, address PFAS and other emerging contaminants, and modernize aging infrastructure.
To date, the WIFIA program has closed 140 loans totaling $22 billion in credit assistance to help finance $48 billion for water infrastructure projects and create 160,000 jobs.
