Voluntary School and Child Care Lead Testing and Reduction Grant Program

A noncompetitive grant program run by the states for testing, and beginning fall 2023, remediation, for lead in drinking water in schools and childcare facilities.  Learn more about the lead testing and reduction grant program.

Children’s Healthy Learning Environments in Low-Income and/or Minority Communities

Closed September 2021 Funding Opportunity Number: EPA-OA-OCHP-21-01

Ten grantees were awarded a total of $2 million for capacity building activities to address disproportionate children’s environmental health harms and risks in school and/or childcare settings in, or that primarily serve, low-income and/or minority communities.  Funding Opportunity Number: EPA-OA-OCHP-21-01

Children's Healthy Learning Environments 

Closed June 2020 Funding Opportunity Number:  EPA-OA-OCHP-20-01

Two grantees were awarded a total of $290,000 through the agency’s FY 2020 Children’s Healthy Learning Environments Grant Initiative.
